Returns & Refunds
At Fairytale Studios, every portrait and artwork piece is custom-made with great care and artistry. Because of the personalized nature of our work, most orders are not eligible for return or refund once production begins. However, we want every family to feel completely delighted with their experience and final artwork, so we have policies in place to ensure clarity and fairness.
Session Cancellations & Reschedules
We understand that life happens. If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible.
Rescheduling must be done at least 5 days in advance of your appointment.
Cancellations or no-shows with less than 5 days’ notice will incur a $250 session fee, charged to the card on file (minus any deposit applied).
To retain the value of any promotional certificate or gift session, rescheduling must be completed within 48 hours of your original appointment and within 30 days of the original session date.
Deposits are 100% refunded at your viewing appointment or Zoom meeting if you attend as scheduled and request a return versus crediting it toward a purchase.
Custom Artwork Orders
Each portrait, album, and folio is a custom work of art created specifically for you.
Once artwork has been approved for production, it is considered final sale and not eligible for cancellation, refund, or exchange.
Quality Guarantee
We guarantee the quality and craftsmanship of every Fairytale Studios product.
If an item arrives defective or damaged, we will repair or remake it at no cost.
Defects or shipping damage must be reported within 7 days of receipt with accompanying photographs of the item and packaging.

Joy is at the heart of everything we create. Each portrait is a labor of love, crafted to celebrate your child’s wonder and preserve it for generations. If your experience or artwork isn’t everything you hoped for, we’ll make it right—always.
Our stepped process involves: Re-Edit / Re-Order / Re-Shoot / Refund
In the rare case we can’t make it right, we’ll issue a full refund—because your trust and happiness mean more to us than any sale.
Minor changes or retouching after approval may be available within 10 days of pickup or delivery and may incur an additional fee.
Refunds
Session deposits are refunded at your viewing or zoom appointment if you attend as scheduled and do not choose to apply it to an order.
Refunds for defective or damaged items (if replacement is not possible) will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after approval and completion of our stepped process. (Above)
Financed Orders - Orders financed through outside partners (such as Affirm or other third-party lenders) will be refunded or adjusted according to each company’s specific refund policies.
Please note that non-refundable financing or setup fees charged by the lender or payment processor are not recoverable and will be deducted from any refund amount.
These fees are assessed by the lender at the time financing is approved and are not retained by Fairytale Studios.
Shipping & Delivery
In the rare case of transit damage, notify us within 48 hours of delivery so we can initiate a claim and replacement.
